Admission Eligibility and Timing:
  1. Admission to Class XI will be on merit, only students who have scored at least 60% in Science and 60% in Mathematics in Class X Examinations will get admission in the Science Stream

  2. Students who seek admission to the Commerce Stream must have at least 60% marks as aggregate average, in all subjects taken together, in the class X Examination.

  3. Students from other boards will be admitted after getting the eligibility certificate from our Examination Board, on application. They will be admitted provisionally first and then confirmed if our Board is satisfied with their marks and issues eligibility certificates in their favour.

  4. Only students from English medium schools are eligible to join our Plus Two Course.

  5. Admission to class XI will be confirmed only after the Board Examination results are declared, depending on the marks scored in these examinations.

  6. Admission Form for class XI will be available at the school office. These must duly be filled up and submitted to the Principal personally by the student concerned, accompanied by their Parents/Guardians.

  7. Two xerox copies of their class X result along with a character certificate from the principal of their respective schools must be submitted along with the Admission forms.

  8. T.C. in original and Board Examination results with two photo copies are to be submitted as soon as they are available.

  9. Original results must be produced for verification and attestation

  10. Those who are accepted by Principal for admission must pay six months fees at the time of admission w.e.f. April of the current year.

  11. Their classes will start around 3rd week of April (subject to change) and their class timing will be from 7.45 a.m. to 1.45 p.m. Monday to Friday.

  12. A student is deemed admitted only after all initial payments are made.

  13. Fees once paid to the school will not be refunded even if the child does not attend school after admission.

Course Of Study:
  1. Students opting for the Science, Commerce or Humanities Streams are prepared for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Examination (ICSE) and the Indian School Certificate (ISC-12) Examination, New Delhi

  2. The Syllabus followed is that of the Anglo-Indian Schools. The students are prepared for the ICSE and ISC Examinations.

 

a. The Curriculum for ICSE includes: (i) English; (ii) Second Language; (iii) History and Civics, Geography; (iv) Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)/Commercial Studies; (v) Mathematics/Environmental Studies (EVS); (vi) Computer Application / Economic Application /Physical Education / Home Science.

b. The Curriculum for the ISC includes:

Science Stream:

Compulsory

1. English

2. Hindi/Bengali

Elective Subjects -

1. Physics

2. Chemistry

3. Biology / Economics/ Computer Science / Physical Education/Home Science;

4. Mathematics / EVS / Psychology.

Humanities Stream:

Compulsory -

1. English

2. Hindi/Bengali

Elective Subjects -

1. Sociology

2. History / Geography / Pol Science

3. Economics / Comp. Science / Physical Education /Home Science

4. Mathematics / EVS / Psychology / Applied Math

Commerce Stream:

Compulsory -

1. English

2. Hindi / Bengali Elective Subjects -

1. Accounts

2. Commerce

3. Economics/Comp. Science /Physical Education/Home Science

4. Business Studies/Mathematics/E.V.S./Applied Math

4. In conformity with the objectives of the School, Value Education is an essential part of the curriculum. Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) and work experience is also stressed upon and assessed by the School Authorities, as directed by the Council at Delhi. Co-curricular activities form an important part of the school curricular and every child is expected to take part in the social and cultural activities of the school.

5. Students must learn to play and work together. The team spirit is necessary and healthy in all spheres of School life. The student should remember that their behavior on the field is as important as elsewhere.

6.Participation in Inter-House activities and attendance at School functions when called to do so, are obligatory. Failure to comply with this is punishable as deemed fit by the Principal.
